Who this covers
King Consulting, LLC is a one-person fractional operations and chief-of-staff practice based in Austin, Texas. This policy covers this website (kingconsulting.llc) only. Client engagements are governed by the services agreement for that engagement, not this page.
What this site collects
- Analytics. The site uses PostHog (hosted in the US, served from our own subdomain) to count pageviews and understand which pages and referral sources are working. This includes pages visited, referring site, approximate region and country derived from your IP address, browser and device type, and clicks. It may include session recordings, with anything you type masked by default. Analytics uses a first-party identifier stored in your browser's cookies or localStorage.
- Bookings. If you schedule a call, Cal.com processes the name and email you provide to set up the meeting.
- Client portal. If you sign in to the client portal, one-time codes are emailed by Cloudflare, and requests or messages you submit go into our CRM (Attio) and work tracker (Linear) so they can be tracked and answered. Portal analytics counts sign-ins and submissions only — never message content.
- Email. If you email hello@kingconsulting.llc, I keep the message and address so I can reply and keep the thread.
The choice you have
Analytics runs on an opt-out basis. A small banner on your first visit lets you accept or opt out; opting out stops analytics collection for that browser. You can change your choice later by clearing this site's data in your browser, or by emailing hello@kingconsulting.llc and asking to be excluded. Blocking cookies in your browser also disables the analytics identifier; the site works fine either way.
What this site never does
- No advertising networks, tracking pixels, or cross-site profiling.
- No selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers or ad platforms.
- No marketing lists built from your visits.
Third parties involved
PostHog (analytics), Cal.com (scheduling), Google Fonts (typeface delivery), and Cloudflare (client-portal sign-in codes). Portal form submissions are stored in Attio (CRM) and Linear (work tracking). Each receives only what is described above.
Retention
Analytics events age out on the analytics platform's retention schedule. Booking details are kept while there is a relationship to keep them for. Email is kept for the life of the thread.
Children
This is a B2B services site and is not directed to children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the revised version and date will be posted on this page.
